How to stop golden syrup sticking to the spoon

Have you ever been in a super sticky situation where you need to get that thick, gloopy, golden syrup out of it’s resting place, to find that all it does is stick to the spoon?? I’ve got one stupidly easy way to make spooning out golden syrup for your favourite brownie or cookie recipe just 10x more easier. You won’t believe how easy it is when I tell you. Dip the spoon in hot water then in the syrup and it slides of the spoon et voila. Simple isn’t it. This trick also works for molasses, honey, treacle and anything seriously sticky.
