When the days are warm, the last thing you want to do is to switch on the oven and bake something. So this blog post requires you to do none of that. All that you need to do is do a little frying and a quick assembly job to create this masterpiece.
Anything that starts with bacon is a winner. But when you render down that fat and caramelise it a bit, it just takes it to a WHOLE different level. And don’t throw away that fat use it to make these.
Now using that beautiful caramelised bacon as a sort of sweet and savoury sprinkles for a basic vanilla ice cream sandwich just takes it to a WHOLE new level which is exactly what I am a food blog does. Just imagine replacing that vanilla ice cream with maple ice cream or even caramel or chocolate the possibilities are endless.
